Something Must Rhyme with Orange?

Written by: Gordon McIntyre Illustrated by: Koko Rattray Age Range: 6 years +

Page Count: 32

What to expect: A story that demonstrates to kids what happens when, giving up is anything, but in an 'impossible' situation!

Zoe can hardly contain her excitement about the class poetry rhyming contest. That is until she picks her word out of the hat-- orange! She can't think of any real words that rhyme with orange, and every idea she does come up with just doesn't make sense. Her poem, in the end, is nothing that her, her classmates, or her teacher have ever heard of before!

Rhyming is something that most people consider 'easy', however, this story proves that not everything comes easy to everyone, and in some instances, following an out of ordinary path can lead to an amazing outcome! The beautifully, yet simple illustrations, have just enough color to make the important parts of the story.. POP!

I would give this book 5/5 Warrior stars!
