It is Sister's birthday! Brother can not wait to share with her what magic happens over the next few years at each birthday. From a wizard, to a mermaid and a magic dragon, Sister is so excited! But when her birthday comes, it isn't at all what she expected. In fact, she is very sad. It isn't until the end of the story that her brother has some words of wisdom, as well as, giving her the best present of all!
I absolutely love the magicalness behind the story! Children can't wait to 'be older', so they can do this or that, but it is during that time that they can make fun memories that they will remember forever- live in the moment! The rhyme pattern in the book makes the story flow nicely and the illustrations are remarkable!
I would give this book 5/5 Warrior Stars!
