Everything he is familiar with comes to an end when a storm comes through one night and drops him to the ground where he becomes lost and confused. An incredible new adventure is about to begin after a bear steps on the pinecone and presses him deep into the earth.
I love, love, love this book for readers of any age! Often times, people get too comfortable with something and the thought of change scares them. This story shows how change can be an amazing thing, even if it was something that wasn't wanted, all in a way that children an follow easily! In addition, I love how the story is told in the perspective of the pinecone itself, and how it is written in a prose type. The illustrations are exquisite and the detail that goes into each illustration is stunning! The combination of the story with the illustrations is a perfect combination!
I would give this book 5/5 Warrior Stars!
