What to expect: A delightful, child friendly story about how 'fitting in' isn't always the most important, but rather 'standing out' and letting yourself shine!

Ellen the Elephant is so different that many animals do not want to play with her, which makes her sad. Telling jokes and being compassionate to others around her is what makes her feel happy. The few friends she does have, thinks she should put on her own comedy shows to make others laugh, because she is so funny. Do animals come from all over to see her performance? Or is her differences too much for others to handle?

Based off of Ellen DeGeneres and her show, the story has a fantastic, child friendly spin showing youngsters why being different is not a bad thing, rather it is most times wonderful! Although Ellen is funny, her best qualities are her compassion to others as well as her kindness. Teaching children from a young age that being nice to people, no matter what, makes not only yourself feel good, but makes the word a better place! The illustrations are beautifully done to follow and inspiring story!

I would give this book 5/5 Warrior Stars!
