What to expect: A story that reminds readers that an idea, especially a 'nutty' one, may in fact, be just what someone (or something) needs!
Brother and sister, Bushy-Tail and Bright-Eyes, want to get out and play before winter comes. They go off on an adventure together, but when they get hungry and look for food and can't find any, they decide to sit on a grassy knoll. Bushy-Tail tells his sister a joke that is so funny, they rolled right into a story they never knew existed, but thanks go Grandpa Greyson, they learned a very valuable lesson.
A delightful story about how being kind and helpful is what we should strive to be. When looking out for other people, or in the case of the story, animals, big thinks can happen, for both the giver and the receiver! I love how the story is about a real place and person, it gives the book an additional perk- it is educational as well! The pictures are eye catching to the reader that matches the story perfectly!
I would give this book 5/5 Warrior Stars!
