Tao

Written and Illustrated by: Alan St. Jean

Page Count: 31

TAO is a great book! I would read it over and over again because it’s very simple and easy. To me, the lesson is that it’s OK to be different and stand out. The illustrations are bright and colorful and the cover isn’t drawn the best and really none of the book is, but otherwise it’s very nice. The characters are pretty good and the book is set up as a comic, or a graphic novel. There is some rhyme that is thrown in and the story flows from beginning to end. The story is written from the narrator’s perspective. I think the book would interest more kids, than most adults or teenagers.

My favorite part was the ending when Tao started singing songs!

I give it 8/10 Warrior Stars!
